Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no subscription, nothing locked behind a paywall.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Open the SOS Golf web address on your phone and add it to your home screen: on iPhone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android, open the browser menu and tap Add to Home screen.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Once you've opened it, scores save on your phone and sync when you're back in coverage. GPS distances work with no signal too.
Which courses does it have?
Scorecards for courses around Ashbourne, Meath and North Dublin are built in, and you can add any course in a couple of minutes. GPS maps come from OpenStreetMap where a course is mapped.
